Challenge Day 3

Its a good thing that we have a healthy food storage!  After a somewhat stressful work day, I was able to come home and find that Phil had prepped the dinner for me without having to run to the grocery store for anything!

Pasta from one of the quart jars we had vacuum sealed last summer was cooked and chilled, the lonely single steak I found yesterday in the "beef bag" in the freezer yesterday was grilled and chilled ahead of time.  All I had to do is chop the garden vegetables and add the  Italian dressing, toss and serve.  Usually we have run out of dressings, or don't have enough pasta to do anything without having to make the evening  Publix run.

Our FoodSaver is a great appliance to have!  As Phil says,"We do use our toys".  Even the left over Pasta Salad was vacuum sealed to last longer than regular left overs.
