Challenge Day 4-5-6

We sure did learn that we have a lot of stuff in our food storage!  We enjoyed eating only from things we had on hand.  Pasta salad came from the garden veggies and the vacuum sealed jars we have had in the pantry.  We had been buying it on BOGO sales.

And from all of these freezer items, we made sautéed polish sausage, onions, peppers in a yummy homemade tomato sauce.  Dessert has been angel food cake and our freezer strawberry and preserves sauce.

Saturday was a bit stressful as we had to replace our air-conditioning unit.  We also spent the day repotting the patio plants, creating a hanging garden of sorts and cleaning the patio itself.

We now have an herb garden, and a hanging basket of peppermint that I can use for my peppermint tea!  The Spider plants we transplanted (6) came from a single baby plant I received as a gift from one fifth grade teachers last year.  Its really nice to sit out side again.

I have also been busy working on a  finger labyrinth for our church's summer camp.  They will need about 20+ of these, so I made the patterns, completed one and am getting ready to "kit" them for the other ladies to help with the sewing.
